Hi Ben, that is an error. Thank you for pointing it out. They used to hire from South Africa but I am not sure if they still do.

Hi C, I would agree with you that it has been quite demoralizing, especially for teachers who have been with Dada for such a long time. I finally closed all my slots last week, and I am very sorry to see my students go. The good news is that there are no minimum hours right now. I might open some extra timeslots at some point.

Teachers across the program have been losing their students and many of us expect the company to close its doors soon. Stay away.

Hi Dugen,

I also mention that you are given pay based on your stability factor. Your stability factor depends on the number of students you have from the previous month. Let’s say you have fifteen stable students, then you have a stability factor of 1.01, and you teach 60hours per month. That’s ($15 x 60 x 1.01)= $909. Now we add the step bonus (20x$1/h + 20x$3/h+ 20x$4/h)x1.01 = (20+60+80)x1.01= $161.60. The stability factor increases to 1.03, with 17 or more stable students. Yeah, I agree it’s not competitive. Dada was once one of the industry’s best companies, but the salary has reduced a lot during the pandemic.

If you teach 60 hours a month =
$900 + $20 + $60 + $80 = $17.66hr

That’s not competitive.

If you teach 100 hours a month (which requires a full schedule and good availability)
$1500 + 20 + 60 + 80 + 240 = $19.20hr

Definitely one of the lowest out there. You can do better almost anywhere else.
